From just two months from the beginning of 2016, the residential real estate sector answers positively to the new year with growth of values and an again confidence from the investors.
This dynamic portrait has contributed, moreover, to select Residential as principal theme at Mipim 2016, the most important real estate event in Europe, which in these days it took place at Palais Des Festivals of Cannes.
In fact, during the last months of 2015 the trend of residential market started to record positive variations, with a general demand increase of 8,5%.
These, the data collected and published by the real estate announcement website of houses for sale and for rent, Casa.it, which has also made a focus of the metropolitan cities.
Thanks to the Studies Centre of Casa.it, we can understand that the most dynamic cities are Milan with a +4,3% and Turin with a +3,7%, followed by Genoa (+3,5%), Naples and Florence (+3.3%), Rome (+3,2%), Bologna (+2,7%) and Palermo (+2,6%).
Concerning the prices of residential properties, on the contrary, we record a gently general contraction of 1,4%, whereas the situation is stable in the city of Bologna.
The most expensive cities, with also a major appeal, are Milan (3.900 €/sqm), Rome (3.600 €/sqm) and Florence (3.340 €/sqm).
