1) His fame has certainly allowed us to meet many people from all parts of the world. In your opinion, what are the “things” the most popular in our country?
The art , the food , the wine , the melodrama … And a certain predisposition to cordiality, in interpersonal relationships .
2) He would be to suggest to his friends , ” not Italian ” to come and live in Italy ?
A country that is not “simple” would be hypocritical to deny it. Flaws, including significant complicate the lives of those who want to live and work here . Moreover, Italians have the advantage of thinking, each with its own head, but this is also their worst fault . They do not know , that is, to think together, be together, play as a team . Summing up the pros and cons of a country – that is to reiterate – is preserved artistic and natural beauty that is unparalleled in the world , I would suggest still to come and live in Italy .
3) What advice would you give to these new ” citizens of the world ” who want to live in Italy?
I would recommend to live every meeting, every Italian adventure , without preconceptions , but unfortunately burden on our country – when viewed from the “outside ” – the weight of a series of stereotypes that, as generalizations are always risky and sometimes potentially harmful . I think it is useful to approach this long , wonderful, diverse country , with no preconceptions , no expectations or / Addiction predetermined .
4) Thank you for your availability and the time that he has spent and would like to ask one last question. If you were to recommend one of his foreign friend to go to live in Italy in which locations would invite to relocate?
My preference goes to Tuscany , particularly the hills of my childhood, in the Era, twenty kilometers from Volterra, Pisa forty to seventy from Florence and Siena. I am also deeply tied to the old world charm of the Maremma region of my heart : a spectacular and wild countryside , an area where there are great restaurants and spas , a place that , especially for someone like me who loves silence and nature, offers great attractions.
